This DNAapp runs nightly to identify member accounts that have fallen below their par value balance requirement and automatically transfers funds from the member's other accounts to bring it back to the par value balance minimum. If there are not enough funds available, the app will places a warning flag on the account. Once the account balance meets or exceeds the par value balance requirement, the warning will automatically be removed.
Accounts can still go negative for fees, ACH, Debit Transactions, and ATM withdrawals (if opted in to REG E). Accounts can also be enrolled in Overdraft Privilege, allowing funds to be withdrawn that would cause the account to go negative.
The account balance must satisfy the par value on top of any holds (ex: par value balance minimum = $5.00, membership share balance = $500.00, monetary hold on membership share balance =$500.00, the account would be considered as meeting the criteria of falling below par value and attempt to transfer funds from the member's other acceptable accounts to bring the account back up to $505.00).
Note: This is an updating application that cannot be run back in time.
Key Benefits:
This DNAapp allows Credit Unions to automate the sweep process for member share accounts irrespective of standard DNA® Sweep Processing. This application helps ensure that the share account's balance should always be equal to or greater than the minimum par balance by withdrawing the funds from available, permitted accounts and placing a warning flag if the member share account is not brought back to the minimum par balance.
This DNAapp enables users to include the minimum balance requirement in members' available balances or set a minimum balance requirement.

Rating This job is very limited. Currently it only works for accounts that the member has appropriately listed in the banner as their share statement account. So, if the member has multiple statement accounts that the functionality should apply to, it will only work for one of them. Ideally this would be a product level setting without the requirement of the share statement account number setting. Additionally, it shows the donor account and member share account numbers in the description without any parameter to remove or mask these. This is a big downside as we prefer not to have account numbers print on statements in this way, but have needs for transaction descriptions to show, especially for our business members. Another parameter we would like to see is one to control if we do or do not want a warning flag placed when an account is not able to be brought up to par value. This appears to be standard, and we would prefer not to have this happening. Another improvement would be to allow it to pull from accounts for owners that aren't primary with a parameter for allowed roles on the member share account, and allowed roles on the donor account. With a few updates I believe this could be a very valuable app, but it is currently not living up to our hopes. What we appreciate the most from the app is that it does allow a par value of $0.00.

- This application is dependent on the MEMBERAGREEMENT table having the primary share account stored in the SHAREACCTNBR field. When the PRIMARYPERSNBR or PRIMARYORGNBR associated with the MEMBERAGREENBR does not equal the Tax Reported For on the SHAREACCTNBR, an exception stating that a valid share account could not be identified for this member appears as an exception on the report.
