This DNAapp provides a graphical interface to customize the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the DNA application according to any users specific requirements. Customizing the GUI includes changes that can be made to the styles of various style groups, such as buttons, checkboxes, frames etc. Each control has its distinct properties, such as background color, fore color, font. Changes are applicable throughout the DNA application.
This feature has been provided to make GUI customization or the changing of "Skins" within DNA a very simple task.
When the AppStyle XML file is selected, the Style Groups defined in the XML file gets populated in the Style Group drop-down list. Each style group is related to a GUI control. On selecting the style group from the Style Group drop-down list, all the styles defined for the selected group are populated in the Style drop-down list. On selecting the style from the dropdown list, a Control is displayed in the Controls group box and the related properties get populated in the Property to Edit drop-down list. When a property is selected in the drop-down list, the current value is displayed next to the drop-down list. Values differ based on their nature i.e. Color, Font, Text etc. These values can be modified and the impact of the change is applied on the control previewed in the Controls group box. A browse button is added to enable a user to select the desired values for the selected property.

This DNAapp is compatible with DNA 3.0 or higher. You will need to download and install the Configuration Toolkit which will configure DNA to load and manage DNAapps. This toolkit is included in the DNA release CD since DNA 3.3 and will be updated here whenever a more recent release is available.
