This DNAapp provides a daily report of accounts that will become inactive within a certain timeframe. The app also generates notification letter that can be mailed to customers with information on how to avoid the account from becoming dormant.
When an account becomes inactive or dormant, a customer may have to provide a written request or visit a branch office in order to reactivate the account. They may also be charged fees for the inactive or dormant status. By notifying the customer ahead of time, these situations may be avoided creating a much more positive customer experience.

This DNAapp creates a report of accounts that will become inactive based on the Number of Days parameter. The user has the option to configure the report through parameters like Current Acct Status Code, Major Account Type Code and Minor Account Type Code. This application also generates notification letters to customers. UpcomingDormantAccount.txt is required to be created and placed in the text directory. Accounts with mail type of Hold All Mail and/or have warning flags (if the Warning Flags parameter is supplied) will be excluded from the list of notification letters. This application uses the Inactive Days of the product to determine when the account will become inactive.
