This DNAapp provides a streamlined process to complete Verification of Deposit requests by allowing the user to select the number of months to use for the Average Balance and change the Thru Date for Current and Average Balances. There are options to print dividend information and active accounts only. The application additionally provides functionality to create a note with information about the processing of a Verification of Deposit, making it easy to determine historically what verifications have been performed on a person. The application integrates with Microsoft Report Viewer to allow for preview and printing of a Verification of Deposit. Your customized financial institution’s logo may be placed on the form.
In the Person/Member Maintenance, after the selected person appeared on the screen, the user will go to the Additional Tab and select Custom Verification of Deposit. The Person and Address field will be populated with the selected person information. The user will either choose to change the Thru Date or leave as is (default is today’s date). The Query button is disabled until the user enters the Average Balance Months and the Thru Date is not blank. The Query button displays the person’s deposit accounts and loan accounts. The Representative Name will be populated with the current user’s name. Other fields such as Lender information are entered “free form” to allow for maximum financial institution flexibility. The user has the option to print dividend information and print active accounts only by checking the appropriate check box. The Print button will preview the custom form so a user can review it before printing. A note on the person whom the Verification of Deposit is prepared for will be created. The note text will show as: “Jane Doe performed a 2 month Verification of Deposit printed for ABC Mortgage.”, where Jane Doe is the representative name and ABC Mortgage is the lender name. The number of months came from the Average Balance Months textbox on the Custom Verification of Deposit screen. Only the underlined texts are not static. A note will only be created if the Lender Information and the Average Balance Month are available on the screen.

In order to properly use the SAF Report Viewer, Microsoft Report Viewer 2010 must be installed. The viewer may be downloaded from the following Microsoft website:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=6442
Then the following DLLs need to be copied from C:\Windows\assembly\ to G:\OSI\CORE\DNAappBin\
- Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common.dll
- Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel.dll
- Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms.dll
DLLs are only required to be copied to the G:\ drive once and not to individual client PCs.
Authorization needs to be granted to employees who will be using the Custom Verification of Deposit App.
This DNAapp is compatible with DNA 3.0 or higher. You will need to download and install the Configuration Toolkit which will configure DNA to load and manage DNAapps. This toolkit is included in the DNA release CD since DNA 3.3 and will be updated here whenever a more recent release is available.
